Aluminium windows

alu-prozori-1Aluminum windows are made in our manufacturing facility are modern design and high quality craftsmanship and finish.
Profiles and fittings used in the production process are of superior quality which enables seamless operation and nearly unlimited lifetime.

This type of windows we recommend: when you need a lightweight construction, strength, durability, when you need fit with glass larger area for objects that are exposed to high temperatures and intense sunlight. Investment in aluminum windows and doors is an investment in a very long time since you it can provide security to half a century.

In the production of aluminum windows, MAXMARA uses the profiles of companies ALUMIL (Greece), SCHÜCO (Germany), WICONA (Germany), FEAL (BiH) and PROFILATI (Italy).

The main features of our aluminum windows are:

  • very good aesthetic impression,
  • easy maintenance,
  • long lifetime guaranteed.

Aluminum windows, grouped according to the number of wings, type of opening and to profile.

According to the number of sash windows divided into: single, double and multi wings.

According to the types of profiles we classify them into two groups:

  • without thermal insulation, called “cold profiles” (we use them mainly for interior joinery),
  • with thermal insulation profiles, called “hot sections” .

According to the type of opening we classify them:

  • classic aluminum windows (opening: openable, tilting, combination of openable and tilt, tilting-sliding),
  • sliding windows (open parallel horizontal sliding sash one after the other),
  • harmonic windows (open wings can be folded to the side).

The last two versions are mainly used for glazing of terrace because they are quite functional, do not lose the terrace area as the wings or folded to one side or simply push back one after the other. It is wanted system because it is simple and very nice.

Connecting profiles and sealing

Aluminium profiles are combined with aluminum mechanical connectors, and extra beautiful two-component glue for additional support and a better seal at the joints.

ZSealing is done with three sets of special rubber (EPDM) following the concept of maximum tightness of the system. This means that seals are compatible with the system’s profile, and in that the grooves overlapping. All angles are glued appropriate adhesive, so that a continuous seal.

Shackle

A very important element of the aluminum windows is the hardware that is used as a window product that should serve for years without interruption and faults with minimal maintenance. The windows have a locking system and locking in a few points between the sash and frame. This ensures a good seal contact area between the sash and frame.

The windows are made of profiles Schüco and WICONA install their typical bonds.

We use plasticized (a large choice of colors from the RAL card) or anodized profile (limited number of colors – natural color of aluminum, bronze, gold color, etc..). It is important to choose colors carefully as the plastic surface can subsequently painted. Maintenance of these profiles is very easy, just wipe them with a damp cloth, but it is important to emphasize that this occasion may not use abrasives or caustic chemicals.

According to EU standards that meet our windows are grouped in the best class.

Permeability to air DIN EN 12207: class 4
Impact resistance to rain DIN EN 12208: class 9A
Heat transfer according DIN EN: depends on the system used and the combination of the glass

Glass

Given the fact that the entire surface of the window 70% relates to glass, aluminum windows vitrify vacuum glazing provides excellent thermal and sound insulation, like a standard option we offer IZO glass:

  • flot 4 mm + 16 mm + 4 mm low-e filled with argon (double-layer glass),
  • low-e 4 mm + 16 mm + 4 mm flot + 16 mm + 4 mm low-e filled with argon (three-layer glass).

By customer request, we can deliver another combination.
